Additionally, they have also begun documenting the various in-store signage. Click here to see it.
As for me, I’m still sitting at only 6 of the 16 Teenie Boos. The hunt continues!

I was pleasantly surprised to find that, in addition to the checklist, some of the Teenie Beanie Boos are coming with a coupon inside they toy bags. The coupon for $1 off any purchase of $4.99 ore more is two-sided: one side has a promo code to order online from the Ty Store, while the reverse has a bar code for purchases at Ty retailers. Both coupons are good for any Ty product through September 30, 2014.
Keep a lookout; there may be more than a toy inside your Happy Meal!
Late last night, McDonald’s updated its Happy Meal website with new videos for the Teenie Beanie Boo/Mario Kart toy giveaways. Among the videos were in-hand clips of all 16 Boos — both color variations of the 8 characters.
This is the first time we’ve had a glimpse of the second color version for any of the Boos. I edited all the clips down to a single video for your convenience. Take a look:
I’m super excited for the purple Myrtle with the green shell! Which color combos are you most surprised by?
More details of the Teenie Beanie Boos have been coming in since early this morning. (Before 1:30 AM I had already received one email from a reader who had already picked up the whole set!)
Now TyCollector.com has shared the first in-hand photos of the Teenie Boos’ hang tags (front and back), the plastic bag the toys come in, and the 3×3 inch checklist card that comes with each Boo. Click here to see them!
Today is the day! Good luck on your hunt. And don’t forget to send in photos of your success. Click here to submit a photo!
The Teenie Beanie Boo television commercial is out! Watch it here:
A recent eBay auction is offering what appears to be the Happy Meal display piece for the upcoming Wii Mario Kart 8 / Ty Teenie Beanie Boo toy promotion. The photos give us our first close-up, in-hand views of the 8 Teenie Beanie Boos that have appeared in promotional graphics.
The photos confirm what we’ve already learned and reveal quite a bit more:
Hang tags: It appears that the hang tags will be similar to those of past Teenie Beanie Baby Happy Meal promotions. A heavy card stock, cut into the shape of the iconic Ty heart, is attached to the toy with red thread. A golden-color ink — instead of actual gold foil — outlines the red heart, as usual, and the “Teenie Beanie Boos” logo replaces the yellow star of past Teenie Beanie tags.
Color versions: The Teenies in the display are the same color versions that we’ve seen in the promotion graphics, but the front of the display states “Each Ty Teenie Beanie Boo’s toy comes in 2 different colors!” Keep reading for more information about what those additional colors will be.
The auction also offers front (seen above) and back (see at auction page) photos of the informational card that McDonald’s restaurants received. These photos confirm and reveal even more information:
Promotion dates: The card reads, “A 28-day Happy Meal featuring 8 Teenie Beanie Boos and 8 Marion Cart toys.” It also confirms the offer begins Friday, July 4, and ends Thursday, July 31.
Color versions: At least! We now know which colors each toy will come in. In the list below, the italicized word indicates the color version that we have not seen in promotional graphics:
Surf the dolphin: pink and purple
Peanut the elephant: pink and orange
Magic the unicorn: pink and blue
Ollie the octopus: orange and purple
Spells the owl: pink and blue
Glamour the leopard: pink and blue
Coconut the monkey: pink and green
Myrtle the turtle: pink and purple
McPlay app: The card states the the McPlay Power magic continues with these toys: “Kids can scan their Teenie Beanie Boos… toy [with a smart phone] and unlock a game or activity to play.”
Customer satisfaction cases: Though McDonald’s restaurants generally do not receive the entire set of toys in one shipment, they do receive a “customer satisfaction case,” which contains a handful of every toy they will eventually have for the promotion. The card says, “All cases feature 10 each of 8 designs; total case pack of 80.” This means that if you get to a McDonald’s early enough, you may be able to request all 16 toys at once to complete your collection.

A few days ago I was able to get my hands on what appears to be an authentic pink Glamour Teenie Beanie Boo. It looks to be identical to the leaked photo from early April, except for the absence of the key clip. I snapped a few close-ups, which are shared below.
The pink version Glamour has not yet been used in any promotion materials. As previously reported, each of the 8 Teenie Beanie Boo animals will come in two colors. The teal version is all that we’ve seen “officially” so far.
If you look closely at the right ear, you’ll notice there’s a small hole, like from a removed hang tag. We have yet to see what the Teenie Beanie Boos hang tags will look like. Stay tuned.
The Ty Facebook page posted an interesting status update this morning:
The Beanie Boos are debuting tomorrow in a very different way! More to come!!
Could this have anything to with the new Teenie Beanie Boos? As they old saying goes… Only Tyme will tell. Stay tuned.
June 21 Update: As of this writing, Ty has not released any further details about this cryptic message. Stay tuned for more.
